Staff Biography:
Abbie Montermini - Dance Instructor
Abbie began her training at in St. Paul, Minnesota and has since studied a variety of dance styles, teaching techniques, dance and movement theory, and dance history. Her background includes jazz, tap, modern, Pilates, musical theater, with an extensive study of classical ballet and pointe technique. She has taught all ages as well as set choreography for many venues including recital, competition, theater, liturgical and workshop performances.
In 2005, Abbie earned her B.S. in General Business from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN and has since worked in Human Resources. Beyond dance, her passions are for sharing the love of Jesus, speaking Spanish, reading, and spending time with her husband, friends and family.
She continues her dance education by attending regular classes throughout the Twin Cities studying ballet and pointe technique in addition to tap and jazz. Most recently she performed in the corps de ballet for Metropolitan Ballet's staging of Act II of the classical ballet Giselle. It is her passion to help others discover, develop and utilize their abilities for the glory of God and it is a great joy to help young dancers develop their gifts to honor their Creator.
